Edited by: Hellen Kellor on 05/10/2007 02:02:29 I dunno, being a newer player (~2006) its kind of frustrating to think about those isk printing machines that are basically endless supplies of currency. Shouldnt there be some sort of mechanism that makes them a bit more available? I dont know, like a life span? Or some kind of research level degredation over time as a result of copying?
Just something to make it a bit more work that scheduling a copy circle jerk every cycle.
I cant be the only one.

Edited by: Hellen Kellor on 05/10/2007 02:09:14 But compare the costs (time/effort) of copying a researched BPO as it compares to all the work, items, skill, and isk you need to come close to competing via invention. Hands down, no comparison. It has brought down the price and made it more available, but its still ridiculous.
Im just looking for some sort of pain in the ass impediment...speed bump...something. Like a durability level which requires maintenance.

What a wonderfully selfish thing to say. I assume that if you owned a T2 BPO this little rant would not be happening. First of all CCP has taken steps to break the monopoly of the T2 BPO owners with ther addition of invention. Furthermore the new T2 ships which will be entering the game around November are only going to be available by invention as no BPO's will be seeded as far as I know.
Does being a new player mean you should have the same rights as an old player? No, you're new. Adapt.
lol @ earn. More like had research agents just like everyone else, but got lucky. I'd like the same opportunity/chance at luck that they had.
If I had said BPOs, i would know how fortunate i was to have them and wouldnt mind paying a decay price or something.
Selfish, maybe. But CCP in their short-sighted genius are the ones that created this situation, not me.

Actually, it is your greed that has created this situation. Just because something happens that you didn't like, doesn't mean you have to whine about how you didn't get an "ISK printing machine"
You want a T2 BPO, invest the money to buy one.
omg you are so right...what was i thinking!

So, yea, reinstate lottery... go for it. Then you going to come back here and whine that you did not win the BPO and people with millions of RPs did... NERF people with millions of RPs!!!
I think you're on to something here.
